The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has emerged victorious in the Delhi Assembly election, winning a significant 45 seats, according to the latest Election Commission data.
This win marks the BJP's return to power in Delhi after a 27-year hiatus. In contrast, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) secured only 21 seats, falling short of its goal to remain the largest party in the Delhi assembly for a third consecutive term. Results from the remaining four seats are still awaited.
The Congress failed to register a victory in any constituency again for the third consecutive time.

Polling for the 70-member assembly took place on February 5 with a total voter turnout recorded at 60.54 per cent.
