The last night of the Democratic National Convention was made memorable, and all credit goes to Pink and her 13-year-old daughter Willow.

On Thursday night (Aug 22) at the United Center in Chicago, the pop star walked out on the stage with her daughter Willow and together, they gave out a soulful performance on the 2017 hit track "What About Us."

Twinning in black outfits, the mother-daughter duo delivered a powerful performance. Pink wore a strapless top, black trousers, and a black and silver belt, while, Willow looked stylish in a black shirt and pants paired with combat boots.

Pink shares Willow with her husband Carey Hart. They are also parents to son Jameson.

Released in 2017, Pink's "What About Us" was inspired by the politics of the time, and was a comment on the United States government.This was Pink's first major political performance.

In the song, she sings, "What about us?What about all the times you said you had the answers?What about us?What about all the broken happy ever afters?What about us?What about all the plans that ended in disaster?What about love? What about trust?What about us?''

This is not the first time Willow has accompanied her mother on stage. Both have together delivered mind-blowing performances several times before, including at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards andPink's Summer Carnival tour.

Willow's surprise appearance comes a few months after she left her mother's Summer Carnival tour to pursue her love for theatre.

Other performers at the four-day eventincluded John Legend, Maren Morris and Stevie Wonder. The trio performed Prince and the Revolution's 1984 classic "Let's Go Crazy" from Purple Rain.
