Meghan Thee Stallion has given her fans a summer treat. The singer is set to release her third-studio album titled Megan. Stallion's long awaited album will release on June 28.
On June 2, the singer made the big announcement during her Hot Girl Summer tour in Atlanta after the shows got postponedfrom original datesMay 31 and June 1 due to burst water pipes and leaks. Along with the announcement, she also shared an QR code, through which her fans can presave the upcoming LP.
At State Farm Arena, the entire crowd wentberserk after the 29-year-old rapper announced the big news in Atlanta with the albums cover that showed her naked, hanging up side down in a butterfly cocoon.
Later, she shared the samealbum cover on her social media and wrote, “SURPRISE HOTTIESSSS!!!! My New Album ‘MEGAN’ will be coming out JUNE 28. Click the link in bio to PRE-SAVE NOW!”
Meghan's 3rd studio album comes months after she released three snake-themed song back to back. Her singles “Cobra,” “Boa” and “Hiss,” got warm reception by the audience with ''Hiss'' becoming Megan's first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1.

Speaking about the snake themed songs, the singer shared how she sees snake as the symbol of rebirth.
“This is just what everybody sees right now. Renewal, rebirth: that is the whole concept of this [album],” she said while speaking to L'Officiel.
“We started with the snake because, first of all, I love snakes, but I feel like snakes are so misunderstood, especially in western culture. Snakes represent rebirth, spirituality. I'm not really a person that's like, Oh my God, sunshine and just super bubbly, happy. I like darker things. I like things that are a little scary. I like things that are unique. I picked the snake because… it's kind of like an antihero,” she added.
