But here we are, witnessing Drake and Kendrick Lamar drop their best verses in brutal diss tracks. And, to explain it all to fans, Dua Lipa turned into a culture critic who has been locked away "for the past 48 hours trying to piece it all together" for the latest episode of Saturday Night Live.

Appearing alongside Mikey Day, Heidi Gardner and Devon Walker, Lipa breaks down the diss battle that hastaken over the music world in the last few days. She explained some of Drake's Canadian slang and how Tupac Shakur’s estate is involved in the rap beef.

The latest episode marks Lipa's third appearance on SNL. And to make her latest appearance extra special, she pulled double duty as host and musical guest for the episode.

Latest on Drake vs Kendrick Lamar beef

In the last 36 hours, Lamar has released two diss tracks targeting Drake. And it seems that the beef is not going to end anytime soon between the two rappers. Drake released “Family Matters” on Friday, which was quickly followed by Lamar putting out “Meet the Grahams” at midnight. Since Lamar was in no mood to wait for a rebuttal, he doubled down with “Not Like Us” on Saturday night.

Both Drake and Lamar have gotten really personal and brutal in the new diss tracks. While Drake suggested that Kendrick’s son was actually fathered by Kendrick’s general manager, Dave Free, in "Family Matters", Lamar opened "Meet the Grahams" by telling Adonis he’s sorry Drake is his father. Lamar also mentioned Drake's alleged secret daughter and accused him of employing sex offenders at OVO.
