Demi Moore recently gave a health update on her ex-husband Bruce Willis, who was diagnosed with aphasia, a condition that affects the way one communicates, in 2022. The actress revealed that the Die Hard actor is in "a stable place".
During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Moore said, "Given the givens, he is in a stable place."
She continued, "What I say to my kids is you meet them where they’re at. You don’t hold on to who they were or what you want them to be, but who they are in this moment." Moore and Willis were married from 1987 to 2000. They share children Rumer Willis, Scout Willis and Tallulah Willis.
"And from that, there is such beauty and joy and loving and sweetness," Moore explained. "When I’m in L.A., I go over every week, and I really treasure the time that we all share."
For those unaware, Willis stepped away from his acting career in 2022 after getting diagnosed with aphasia, a condition that affects the way one communicates. A year later, his family revealed that the condition had progressed to frontotemporal dementia.
“Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces,” the statement read. “While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.”
Moore will be next seen in the upcoming body horror film The Substance. The film will hit theatres on September 18. It has been helmed by Coralie Fargeat.
