Two shooters identified as Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21), who opened fire outside Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, have been brought to Mumbai amid heavy security and have been sent to 10-day police custody, according to the latest reports.
For those unaware, two gun-yielding goons fired 4-5 bullets outside Salman's Mumbai home on Sunday and then fled the scene in their bike. Taking swift action, the police department formed 12 teams to investigate the matter. CCTV footage helped police officials to nab the culprits.
A joint operation by both the Mumbai Crime Branch and Gujarat's Bhuj police led to the arrest of the shooters on Monday. The Bhuj police then handed over the accused to Mumbai police for further probe.

Meanwhile, Salman's brother Arbaaz has shared a statement to shut down fake news. He took to Instagram on Monday and shared that none of his family members has given a statement to the media so far and that reports claiming that Salim Khan called the incident a "publicity stunt" are completely false.
The statement read, "Our family has been taken aback by this shocking incident that took place. Unfortunately, some people claiming to be close to our family and pretending to be the spokesperson have been making loose statements to the media saying it's all a publicity stunt and the family remains unaffected, which is not true and these views should not be taken seriously. We have faith in the Mumbai police and we have been assured they will do everything in their capacity to protect and secure our family. Thank you, everyone, for your love and support."
