After Wall Streets stocks fell sharply on Thursday, BSE Sensex fell over 500 points on Friday with the Nifty also falling 167 points in opening trade.

The Dow nosedived again today going down over 1,000 points repeating the downfall when it plunged in similar manner on Monday.

On Tuesday the Sensex had fallen over 1,000 points.

Dow Jones Industrial Average dived 4.2 per cent to 23,860.46.

S&P 500 also took a hit sinking 3.8 per cent to 2,581.00, while the Nasdaq Composite Index plunged 3.9 per cent to 6,777.16.

Asian stocks also opened sharply lower withTokyo, Hong Kong and Shanghai were among the worst hit.
