World Cup: Funny Twitter reactions on Rishabh Pant after Shikhar Dhawan's suspected ouster

Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan sustained an injury on his left thumb during the team's World Cup match against holders Australia on Sunday following which, his participation in remaining matches is doubtful.
Dhawan is being assessed but the media reports havesuggested that the 33-year-old has fractured his thumb.
Although, the official statement from India's cricket board is still awaited which willreveal whether Dhawan will play in the remainder of the tournament.
If the southpaw is ruled out ofthe entire tournament, designated standbys Rishabh Pant and Ambati Rayudu are in contention to replace him.

It is learnt that Pant, whose omission from the original squad kicked up quite a storm given his brilliant form in the past one year, might be flown in as a cover, not a replacement.
