Kohli had wished him success before England's first match in FIFA World Cup 2018.

England football national team captain Harry Kane reaction to the tweet by Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli wishing him success before England's first match in FIFA World Cup 2018.

Kane scored two goals as England defeated Tunisia 2-1 in their opening encounter. 

After the win, the Three Lions captain took to Twitter and thanked Virat Kohli for his gesture.

"Thanks Virat, not a bad start!" wrote Kane.

Kane made a late header in the 91st minute just when it looked like England were going to extend their disappointing run in World Cup tournaments.

Earlier, he had put the team ahead in the 11th minute of the Group G game. England launched their campaign with attacking football and they tore into Tunisia before and after Kane's opener. 

England defender Kyle Walker swung an arm behind him and caught Fakhreddine Ben Youssef in the face and Colombia referee Wilmar Roldan pointed to the spot.
