No relief for Spanish giants and the current European Champions Real Madrid as the club's injury crisis deepens.

Real's defender Nacho Fernandez will miss two months and midfielder Casemiro around three weeks, according to reports in Spain.

The club's official statement read, "Following tests carried out on Nacho by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a dislocation of the internal collateral ligament of the right knee. His recovery will continue to be assessed."

Both players were substituted after sustaining problems during Madrid's 4-2 La Liga win at Celta Vigo on Sunday.

The European champions are already missing defenders Marcelo, Raphael Varane and Dani Carvajal through injury, as well as striker Mariano Diaz.

Meanwhile, Santiago Solari appointment as the permanent coach might bring some relief to the club.

On Monday, Interim Solari took the position after overseeing a startling upturn in the European champions' fortunes since he stepped in to replace Julen Lopetegui.

"Everything is in order. Real Madrid have worked out his contract and there are no problems," the Spanish football federation stated.

Solari has led Real to four wins out of four since being installed on a caretaker basis following Lopetegui's abrupt sacking last month.
