
Before the full results of the Lok Sabha Elections were declared, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 4 claimed victory for theNational Democratic Alliance (NDA).
Even as BJP had no outright majority, the Modi government, along with its NDA partners is on its way to formthe government once again.
In a post on X, PM Modi thanked the voters and wrote,"People have placed their faith in NDA, for a third consecutive time! This is a historical feat in India’s history. I bow to the Janata Janardan for this affection and assure them that we will continue the good work done in the last decade to keep fulfilling the aspirations of people. I also salute all our Karyakartas for their hard work. Words will never do justice to their exceptional efforts."
The Prime Minister also addressed supporters in Odisha and celebratedBJP's success in the assembly elections.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extendedthanks to Telugu Desam Party (TDP) for its crucial support to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Andhra Pradesh.
"Andhra Pradesh has given an exceptional mandate to NDA! I thank the people of the state for their blessings. We will work for the all-round progress of AP and ensure the state prospers in the times to come."
BJP National President JP Nadda gave wishes to the people of Andhra Pradesh for their support and said that they "have chosen to march forward under the NDA governance and the guidance of PM Modi towards a brighter future, filled with hope, prosperity, and unity."
The Prime Minister later addressed party workers at the BJP headquarters.
Modi has secured the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat for the third time by defeating Congress candidate Ajay Rai by over 1.5 lakh votes. One of the most riveting contestsunfolded in Uttar Pradesh, where the INDIA alliance secured the majority of the seats.

This time the Lok Sabha election in UP saw a big shift from the 2019 elections when the NDA won 62 seats, BSP 10, SP 5, and INC 2.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah attributed the BJP's continued success to the dedication of its workers. "This victory of BJP for the third time is the result of the tireless hard work of our workers."
