Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu will sit on a day-long hunger strike on April 20 for thedemand of Special status for their state.
The hunger strike will be organised against the Central government.
The conflict between the BJP and the Telugu Desam Party (TDP ) began after the centrefailed to fulfil Karnataka's demand of special status.
The row between the two parties also led to the exit of TDP from NDA, the BJP led alliance.
Also, two TDP ministers Ashok Gajapathi and YS Chowdary resigned from the Modi cabinet.
Besides the resignation of the two TDP ministers from Modi cabinet, five YSRCP MPs also submitted their resignations to Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan on April 6.
