Though the victim's father was happy with death sentence awarded to Kasab, he said they will be satisfied only after the real mastermind sitting in Pakistan is punished.

The attack took place on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja Terminus, Leopold Cafe, Taj Hotel, Oberoi Trident, Nariman House on November 26, 2008. It was carried out by 10 Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists from Pakistan who arrived in Mumbai via sea route. As many as 166 people lost their lives while over 300 suffered injuries in the attack.
Nine terrorists were killed while the lone surviving terrorist Kasab was hanged to death on November 21, 2012, at the Yerwada Central Jail in Pune.
Even after nine yearsof the attack, mastermind Hafiz Saeed is still roaming free.He walked free fromthe house arrest in Pakistan on November 24.
Immediately after his release, the LeT founder resumed the anti-India rhetoric and vowed to mobilise people for the "cause of Kashmir" and called for "jihad".
Calling the release of Saeed as "a step in the wrong direction" the White House has condemned hisreleaseand asked for his immediate re-arrest.
