India and Palestine signed six Memorandums of Understanding (MoU)s worth $40 million on Saturday.
Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale addressed a media briefing in Abu Dhabi yesterday and shared details about the new projects which India will undertake.
The Palestinian President welcomed the Indian Prime Minister and thanked him for the ongoing projects.
India will take up the project of building a speciality hospital of 100 beds in Palestine and a women's empowerment centre where women from different parts of Palestine can come and learn skills.
Gokhale also shared details about the renovation of schools in Palestine. The national printing press here will receive machinery from India.
Gokhale called PM Modi's visit to Palestine "historic", the first ever by an Indian Prime Minister.
