Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju continues its dream run as the film woos the audience with Sanjay Dutt’s controversial life story. In its sixth day now, Sanju has already broken several records including one of registering the highest opening weekend collection at the box office this year with Rs 120.06 crore.
Sanjay Dutt’s biopic entered the Rs 100 crore club in just 3 days and now looks set to enter the Rs 200 crore club in 7 days as the film till 6 days of running collected Rs 187.51 crore approx. On the sixth day alone, the film earned Rs 20 crore.
Interestingly, Sanju beat Salman Khan’s Race 3 as it collected the latter’s entire collection till date in only 6 days.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted, " In 6 days, #Sanju has surpassed #Race3 collections in #India Now, #Sanju is the 2nd highest grossing Hindi movie for 2018, next to #Padmaavat #RanbirKapoor @RajkumarHirani."

The film apart from Ranbir Kapoor also stars Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal and Manisha Koirala. The film is directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion holds the record for being the highest-grossing film in India with Rs 1,417 crore in domestic collections.
