
India on Monday reported 11,502 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours with 325 deaths, the health ministry said.

The total number of cases in the country has risen to 3,32,424 including 1,53,106 active cases. The death toll in the country due to the virus has risen to 9,520.
Health ministry officials said 1,69,798 patients have been cured.
Meanwhile, India's national capital reported the highest single-day spike in the number of coronavirus cases with 2,224 infections in the last 24 hours.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the captial has risen to 41,182 with 1,327 fatalities. According to health officials, 15,823 patients have recovered from the virus, however, there are still 24,032 active cases in the city.
Amid the rising number of cases, Telangana chief minister Chandrashekar Rao said that 50,000 tests are to be conducted in 30 assembly constituencies in Hyderabad and surrounding districts next week.
Haryana, meanwhile, reported 459 coronavirus cases and 10 deaths in the last 24 hours with the total number of cases in the state rising to 7,208, including 3,003 recoveries.
Thereare 4,117 active cases in the state. The death toll due to the virus has risen to 88 in the state.
