Coronavirus cases rise to over 58,000 in Mumbai

Mumbai reported 1,395 coronavirus cases with 79 deaths taking the total number of cases in the city to 58,135, including 28,959 active cases.
According to health officials there26,986 people have recovered. with the death toll climbing to2,190 deaths in India's financial capital.
The Indo-Tibetan Border Police(ITBP) reported four more cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours with 33 active cases.
Indore in Madhya Pradesh reported six new coronavirus cases taking the total number of cases in the state to 4069. The death toll in the state due to the virus stands at 174.
Meanwhile, in Telanagana 23 journalists tested positive for the virus as the state health department informed that 60 journalists have been infected with COVID-19.

The state reported 237 more COVID-19 cases including three deaths in the last 24 hours taking the total number of cases in the state to 4,974. The death toll due to the virus in the state has risen to 185. The health department said there are 2,412 active cases.
In Jharkhand, 37 new coronavirus cases were reported taking the total number of cases in the state to 1,761. Nine people have died due to the virus in the state.
