Meghalaya Lok Sabha Elections 2024 date: The schedule for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections is out. The 2024 Lok Sabha election will be conducted in 7 phases with first phasebeginningApril 19. The last phase of voting is on June 1 and the counting will take place onJune 4. In Meghalaya, the polling will be held in single phase, on April 19.

Meghalaya has two Lok Sabha constituencies and a 59-member legislative assembly. The National People's Party emerged victorious in the 2023 assembly elections.

Lok Sabha elections 2024 complete schedule

On March 16, 2024, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar released the schedule for this year’s Lok Sabha elections. The voting will occur in 7 phases, commencing on April 19 and concluding on June 1. Phase 1 is set for April 19, followed by the second phase on April 26, the third on May 7, the fourth on May 13, the fifth on May 20, the sixth on May 25, and the seventh on June 1. The results of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections will be announced on June 4.

2019 Lok Sabha election results
