'Kabir Singh' teaser: Shahid Kapoor drinks, revolts and swears for love

The first teaser of Kabir Singh is out and it shows Shahid Kapoor in a strikingly rebelious avatar. He drinks, he smokes, he swears. Kapoor on Monday teased fans with his "rebel with a cause" avatar in the teaser which is a Bollywood remake of Telugu film 'Arjun Reddy'.
'Kabir Singh'is written and directed by Sandeep Vanga who had also directed the original Telugu film.
"I`m not a rebel without a cause. This is me. Kabir Singh," Shahid tweeted with a link to the power-packed teaser.
The film also stars Kiara Advani who appears only at the end of the teaser when Shahid plants a kiss on her cheek, and says, "Kisi ne nahi dekha (Nobody saw it)."
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Ashwin Varde, the film is releasing on 21st June.

Shahid aces the rugged, rough and aggressive look as a doctor with anger management issues. He can be seen swearing, and showing his middle finger. The 'Udta Punjab' actor is also seen snorting drugs in the teaser.
The original film featured Vijay Deverakonda whose performance as the rebelious lover had been lauded by one and all. Will 'Kabir Singh' do the same for Shahid as well? We will have to wait and watch.
