Ex-Italian footballer Gianluca Zambrotta to join fans at El Clasico screening in Delhi

LaLiga, Spain’s top division football league, is set to host a special match screening of one of the most anticipated matches of 2017 - El Clasico.

The game will broadcast live on December 23, when Real Madrid hosts FC Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Fans in India can watch the match in the presence of former FC Barcelona star and Italian football legend, Gianluca Zambrotta.

On joining fans at the El Clasico screening, Gianluca Zambrotta said, “India has some of the most passionate fans I have ever seen. I’m excited about joining them to watch the clash in one of my favourite cities, New Delhi. I expect 90 minutes of high-intensity football, considering both teams will do their best to enforce their supremacy”.

For the first time ever has scheduled El Clasico at a prime time slot of 5.30 pm IST. The time preference has been kept in mind for India audiences. According to the LaLiga announcement release, the live screening of the match will take place at NSIC Grounds in Okhla, New Delhi on December 23, 2017.
