Cricket fraternity reacts as Yuvraj Singh hangs up his boots

Yuvraj Singh has called time on his international cricketcareer with immediate effect on Monday although he will look to play on in Twenty20 leagues around the world.
The 2011 World Cup hero, Yuvraj Singh was accompanied by his wife and mother when he announced his decision to retire.
"After almost 17 years of international cricket on and off, I have decided to move on," he said after being reduced to tears by a video of the highlights of his career.
"Cricket has given me everything and that's the reason why I am standing here today. It's been a love-hate relationship with the sport in retrospect."
After his announcement wishes started pouring in and the cricket fraternity congratulated him on a successful career.

Mohammad Kaif hailed Yuvraj as one of the greatest match-winners in the history of the game.
He wrote, "One of the greatest match-winners in the history of the game,a fighter who built an extraordinary career through difficult challenges & came out a winner every time-We all are so proud of you #YuvrajSingh , u can be very proud of what u have you done for our country."
In 2000, Yuvraj made his international debut against Kenya when was selected in the Indian squad for the 2000 ICC KnockOut Trophy after his impressive performances for the Under-19 team.
India's 2011 World Cup hero Yuvraj has played a total of 304 One-Day International matches and amassed 8701 runs. In Test, his run-aggregate is 1900 in 40 matches he played in his career.
Yuvraj Singh, who is one of India's greatest limited overs cricketers, last played a Test in 2012 and ODI and T20 in 2017.
