After Akhilesh Yadav vacated the government bungalow in Uttar Pradesh, SP leader Sunil Yadav has claimed that the damages inside the premise was ordered by CM Yogi Adityanath.

He said the chief minister took the step to malign the image of Akhilesh Yadav.

"After handing over keys of the govt bungalow, the damages inside the premises was ordered by CM Yogi Adityanath himself. This was done just to malign Akhilesh Yadav's image in public because CM is frustrated after losing a series of by polls", Sunil Yadav said.

While UP MInister Swatantra Dev Singh has asked for an investigation into the matter.

Singh said "Removing of ACs & tiles should not have been done because these are govt property. He has violated SC order. Investigation needed."

SP chief and former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh vacated the government bungalow in Uttar Pradesh after the orders of Supreme Court.

The bungalow left by the Yadav was found in a distorted state with damaged floor tiles and laminations, missing electrical switchboards.

In his order last month, the Supreme Court had ordered former chief ministers of the Uttar Pradesh to leave the government accommodation.

After the apex court's order, the state government had issued a notice to six former chief ministers of the state- Narayan Dutt Tiwari, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Kalyan Singh, Mayawati, Rajnath Singh and Akhilesh Yadav.
