Chris Hemsworth's latest film 'Extraction' has released worldwide on Netflix just a few days back. The action thriller has Hemsworth playing Tyler, a mercenary who has to travel to Dhaka to rescue the son of a Mumbai based drug lord.
The film is multi-lingual owing to the story. While the primary language is Engish, the actors can also be seen speaking in Hindi and Bengali. Now, Indian actors speaking Hindi and Bengali is not unusual but what did stand out is when Hemsworth himself spoke out in Bangla in one of the scenes!
'Extraction' review: Chris Hemsworth's latest film is just about stunts
In a particular scene, Hemsworth can be seen getting questioned in what appears to be somewhere in Dhaka. The interrogator speaks in Bengali and Hemsworth replies in fluent Bengali, saying “proman dao”, which literally translates into “give me proof”.
Needless to say, those two words spoken by Hemsworth got his Bengali fans gushing over the Hollywood star in an all-new way. Someone even hilariously compared it to Hemsworth's popular Marvel character Thor. In Bengali, a part of the Banana tree is called a thor and is considered a vegetarian delicacy.
Directed by Sam Hargrave, 'Extraction' has Hemsworth and Joe Russo as co-producers. The film also features Randeep Hooda, Priyanchu Painyuli., Rudraksh Jaiswal and Pankaj Tripathi.
