
Meghalaya Lok Sabha Election Results 2024: The CongressandVoice of the People Party won one seat each in the Meghalaya Lok Sabha elections. The northeastern state has two Lok Sabha seats.
Meghalaya went to polls in the first phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 on April 19. As per the Election Commission of India, the voter turnout state stood at around 76.60 per cent.
In the 2019 general elections, Meghalaya saw a closely contested battle with the NPP making major gains. NPP candidate Agatha K. Sangma won the Tura constituency by 64030 votes. Meanwhile, INC candidate Vincent H. Pala won the Shillong seat with 1,52,433 votes.
