The newlyweds Liam Hemsworth and his singer wife Miley Cyrus made their first public outing post-wedding as they attended the G'Day USA Gala on Saturday in Los Angeles.
As the event was to celebrate America-Australia relationships, actor Liam who is an Australian by descent was felicitated for his contribution to maintaining a meaningful cultural exchange. Liam along with other stars including John Travolta was given the honour.
They came dressed for the event, as Miley was seen in a black gown that had a very deep neckline and some accessories on her hands, finger rings, earrings.

Hemsworth sported a fitted black suit, white shirt and a matching tie.
The actor was awarded the G'Day USA Excellence in Film award in recognition of outstanding performances in movies including ‘The Hunger Games’ franchise and ‘Independence Day: Resurgence.’
The couple sat by each other throughout the night.
Meanwhile, they got married in a hush-hush ceremony last year. Speaking of it, he said, “It was really a beautiful day with our immediate family and a couple of close friends. It's wonderful we've been together for the better part of 10 years. It doesn't feel like a lot has changed one hand, and in the other hand, it does. It's all great and I'm loving it."
He also thanked Miley during his speech as he said, "Thank you to my beautiful wife. You are a sweet, sweet angel," he said.
