Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan has returned home following a successful knee surgery at a Mumbai-based hospital.
The 'Chandu Champion' actor recently sustained a knee injury while performing an action sequence on the sets of one of his films, after which he had to undergo surgery.

According to his spokesperson, he is currently recovering and is expected to resume shooting soon.
"Kartik Aaryan sustained a knee injury while performing an action sequence on the set of his film. His surgery was completed successfully, and he is now back home, resting and recovering. He will be back on set soon," his spokesperson said.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Kartik recently won the Best Actor in a Leading Role award at the 72nd National Film Awards (announced on July 18, 2026) for his portrayal of India's first Paralympic Gold Medalist Murlikant Petkar in the biographical sports drama Chandu Champion, directed by Kabir Khan.

Kartik and veteran actor Mammootty were jointly honoured with the Best Actor Award at the 72nd National Film Awards.
Kartik is next gearing up for an untitled romantic musical drama directed by Anurag Basu. It also stars Sreeleela. He also has the supernatural comedy Naagzilla, directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, in the pipeline. As per reports, the actor will also be seen in Captain India, a survival drama directed by Shimit Amin.
