In an incident that looks straight out of a thriller movie, YouTuber Jack Doherty crashed his $200,000 McLaren supercar in a livestream. The Kick streamer lost control of his fancy car while driving it on a rainy day. The incident was recorded on a live stream that showed the 20-year-old distractedly texting while driving.

Within moments, Doherty lost control of the vehicle, veering straight into a guardrail, leaving him and his cameraman completely flabbergasted. The footage from the influencer’s livestream soon went viral on X, where he can be seen driving the high-end car recklessly.

The incident occurred in Miami, with Doherty’s cameraman, Michael, in the passenger seat. The livestream was featured on the Kick platform. As it was a rainy day, Doherty was caught going way too fast before his car skidded and crashed into a guardrail.

In the footage, the two of them can be heard screaming for help and trying to take control of the car, with the cameraman bleeding profusely from his head and ears.

A video shared on Doherty's X account shows what happened next, with him asking for help while people tried to break the driver's side window.

“All my money’s gone,” Doherty laments in the video as he details the expensive upgrades he invested in for the car. “My f------ car!” he exclaims, then turns to his passenger, asking, “Are you okay?”

Jack Doherty, sometimes also known as Shane Doherty, is an American YouTuber and Kick streamer who performs stunts and pranks, some of which are illegal.

He hails from Long Island, New York, and is of Irish and Polish descent.

Doherty started his digital journey in July 2016 when he set up his self-titled channel on YouTube and uploaded his first video in September 2016. He earned his first 100 subscribers from a video titled, “Marker Flip Twice in a Row!!!,” in which Doherty is flipping a marker two times successively. It is also his most-watched video and it has a view count of 29 million as of October 2024.

Uploaded on 13 January 2017, the video is titled "I Flipped All These" and shows Doherty successfully flipping multiple objects (from markers to water bottles to Total Home boxes).

His content mostly includes pranks, stunts, and tomfoolery. His other videos include "Floor is lava challenge at Walmart! (Kicked out)", "Singing ‘Despacito' on the Walmart intercom! (Kicked out)" and "Flips for a Kiss at the Mall."
