As home minister Rajnath Singh landed in Jammu and Kashmir(J&K), terrorists attacked an army patrol in the Keran sector of Kupwara.
The terrorists ambushed the patrolling party. Two soldiers were critically injured in the attack.
Sources said the attack was carried out by Pakistan's border action team(BAT).

Meanwhile, Rajnath Singh reached Srinagar on Thursday morning to review the security situation in the state after Pakistan repeatedly opened fire along the Line of Control(LoC).
India's home minister will be meeting people in the border areas and will meet J&K chief minister Mehbooba Mufti during his two-day visit to the state.
