Rishi died at a Mumbai hospital on Thursday after a two-year battle with cancer. Meanwhile, Rishi Kapoor's daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni reached Mumbai on Saturday night as she lives in Delhi, and owing to nationwide lockdown, she was not able to attend her father's funeral as she joined the family via video conference. The last rites were performed at Chandanwadi crematorium on the same day of his death.

On Saturday, Neetu Kapoor also posted a heartfelt message along with Rishi's photo on her Instagram account, the photo shows a smiling Rishi Kapoor enjoying his drink.
