Rishi Kapoor (1952-2020): Rare pictures of the actor with his family

Born to Raj and Krishna Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor was the third child of the couple. Rishi Kapoor had maintained that he was more close to his mother than his famous father. In his autobiography, 'Khullam Khulla', candidly opened up about his relationship with father, Raj Kapoor. Revealing how and when he had stopped fearing his father, Rishi Kapoor had shared, “I am not entirely sure when I stopped fearing my father. It may have happened with my own rising stardom. My father and I had a strange relationship''.

Rishi Kapoor was the grandson of actor Prithviraj Kapoor and  Raj Kapoor's second son. They were five siblings - brothers Randhir, Rishi and Rajiv Kapoor and two sisters Ritu Nanda and Rima Jain. 

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor had once shared  old black-and-white photographs from his childhoo. One image has the young Rishi Kapoor carrrying a bag at the airport.

The other photo has legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar holding the actor when he was two months old, as the singer was invited by his father for dinner at their home.

In the picture,12-year-old Rishi Kapoor is seen having a 'man to man' talk with Pran. 

While in the other picture when he was a young star he is seen talking with legendary star Dev Anand.

Rishi Kapoor tied the knot with actress Neetu Singh on 22nd January 1980. They both together appeared in more than fifteen films.

The couple has two children together - Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Ranbir Kapoor.
