'Little rascals' arrested by police for robbing a bank
Three boys, aged 11, 12, and 16, were caught for robbing a bank in Houston. Dubbed, "Little Rascals,” the three minors are currently in police custody.
In custody and charged
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez confirmed that the youngsters are in custody and have been charged with robbery by threat, a second-degree felony. Due to their ages, no further details were disclosed.
FBIhunts for the trio, arrests them
The FBI’s Houston office had been on the lookout for them after they robbed a Wells Fargo bank in the Greenspoint area of north Houston on March 14. The FBI shared a picture of the trio, all wearing hoodies, taken inside the bank. "Recognize these "little rascals"? Believe it or not they just robbed the Wells Fargo at 10261 North Freeway. If you know who and where they are contact police immediately," FBI wrote on social media platform X on March 15.
Announcing their arrest, the FBI wrote, "All three bank robbery suspects known as the 'little rascals' are in custody. They are 11, 12, and 16 year-old boys charged locally with robbery by threat. Because they are juveniles, their names, and no additional details will be released."

How did the 'little rascals' pull off this heist?
According to reports by Houston’s ABC 13, the boys handed a threatening note to a teller and then fled on foot with an unspecified amount of cash. Although they did not show any specific weapon, the boys were believed to be armed.
Identification by parents and law enforcement
The parents of two boys recognised their children after their photos were released, while a third boy was identified by a law enforcement officer following an altercation. If they are found guilty, the boys may be placed on probation until they turn 18 or sent to juvenile prison until they turn 19.
