US: General Motors on cost-cutting drive, cuts hundreds of jobs | World Business News

In order to reduce costs, General Motors is cutting hundreds of Executive level and salary jobs in U.S. However, the reports added that the global reductions are in low hundreds and a cost-saving target of $2 billion will be achieved by reducing corporate expenses overhead and complexity in products.
