In the latest diktat against women in Afghanistan, the Taliban have issued an order to ban Afghan women employees of the United Nations staff from working throughout Afghanistan. According to a UN spokesperson, the Taliban have extended a ban on women working for NGOs to the UN mission throughout the country.
