
In a shocking incident, a Bengaluru couple found a live venomous snake in the Amazon package they ordered online. The customer shared a video showing thecobra trying to come out of the taped package they received on Sunday.
The techie couple ordered an Xbox controller two days earlier but found a live snake in their package that was handed over to them by the delivery person at their home on Sarjapur Road. Fortunately, the snake could not come out of the box, kept in a red bucket, as it was stuck to the duct tape with the Amazon Prime logo on it.
The incident was filmed by the couple and shared on Twitter to which Amazon responded, "We're sorry to know about the inconvenience you've had with the Amazon order. We'd like to have this checked. Please share the required details, and our team will get back to you soon with an update."
The couple said they had received a refund but they are still dissatisfied and question Amazon's negligence during the warehousing and transportation of the package as they worry for their safety after this incident.
As the video went viral, many Twitter users expressedshock. One user commented, "How did the package transported so far so long no one noticed..." while another said, it is "Enough reason to delete @amazonIN app". Anotherjoked, "Living to the name Amazon is delivering now from Amazon rainforest."

The snake was released to a safe location away from the public, but the customer remains disappointed due tothe lack of safety supervision on Amazon's part.
