Afghan President Ghani and bitter rival Abdullah reach 'tentative' agreement

The feud between Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and his political rivalAbdullah Abdullah seems to be at the juncture of resolution.
Abdullah said on Friday that the two men had moved forward in talks.
The former Chief Executive Officer of the Unity Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, took to Twitter and said:
Abdullah had to step down from the position of the CEO of the Afghan government after helost last year's presidential elections that Ghani won amid claims of fraud.
However, instead of accepting defeat, Abdullah proclaimed himself president, a title he uses evenday, though the international community only recognises Ghani.

According to media sources,Abdullah has made a multi-pronged proposal to Ghani.
The offer would see Abdullah appointed to lead eventual peace talks with the Taliban while also getting a 50-percent share of the government including several high-ranking positions for his allies.
