In yet another incidentrelating to superstitious practices in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, a four-month-old infant was branded with an iron rod to cure her of pneumonia.
The infant, a resident of Rama Kheda village in Bhilwara was rushed to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Bhilwara after her health worsened.

The matter came to light when the doctor operating her discovered marks on her stomach.
The baby was branded a couple of days back before she was taken to the hospital.
This is not the first time when an incident ofsuperstition was reported from Bhilwara said the SHO of Karoipolice station.
