<p><strong>CP Joshi: </strong>Yes, I am of the firm opinion that when we are recognised by the party and when we occupy several positions it is our moral duty to contest the elections at the juncture when the party is facing a crisis.</p>

<p><strong>WION:</strong>&nbsp;You are a 5-time MLA from Nathdwara constituency. You were also the Member of the Parliament earlier. Do you think that people this time&nbsp;will vote for you to win the election?</p>

<p><strong>CP Joshi:</strong>&nbsp;Yes because I have performed. I promised them that I would provide and resolve the problem of drinking water and I have done it and people know this fact.</p>

<p><strong>WION: </strong>Yes, in 2009 you implemented the Chambal water project...</p>

<p><strong>CP Joshi: </strong>In public life... for me credibility is important and that is my USP.</p>

<p><strong>CP Joshi: </strong>Just think about this, people have suffered a lot, particularly women. They had to travel from one place to another&nbsp;for drinking water. They have suffered a lot and they have seen the change... after the completion of&nbsp;the Chambal project,&nbsp;water is coming to their household so I hope they will appreciate it and they will cast their vote for me.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>CP Joshi: </strong>My credibility. Because I am one of the public representatives who resolved the issue that the public was facing for a very long period of time. With this background, I am assuring. The young population of Bhilwara requires job opportunities. There are plenty of opportunities available in Bhilwara. Bhilwara is one of the districts where iron deposits are available. When I was MP, we tried to establish a steel factory. We took the initiative. It was I who took the initiative to have a coach factory in Bhilwara. We have laid the foundation of this. Having done all this, I was expecting that the government of the day would proceed further and develop this thing. But unfortunately, they could not. So my wish is that having more investment in such activities and giving an opportunity to have new technology institutes will provide an opportunity to have jobs.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>CP Joshi: </strong>In public life, the caste plays an important role. Nobody can deny it. Historically, this constituency has been represented by a number of stalwarts like Ramesh Chandra Ji Vyas, Upadhyay ji, and Girdharilal ji Vyas.&nbsp;So these precedents give an example that this constituency is being represented by Brahmin leaders of the party. I hope they will cast a vote for me also. I am a Congressman I always work for every section of society and for us, the vulnerable section is more important. Congress gets votes from every walk of life from SC, ST, and other minorities but today it is the harsh reality that caste plays an important role so I won't be able to comment on it. But naturally, there are historical facts.&nbsp;</p>

'My credibility is my USP': Congress candidate Dr CP Joshi from Bhilwara, Rajasthan tells WION

<p>The burnt remains of a 14-year-old girl were recovered from a brick kiln in the Bhilwara district of north Indian state of Rajasthan, said police.</p>

<p>The locals in the area alleged that the girl was raped before being thrown into the kiln furnace.</p>

<p>The incident was reported to the police by the family members after the minor girl went missing for several hours.</p>

<p>As per news agency PTI reports, the family, while looking for the girl who went missing on Wednesday morning, found her footwear near a brick kiln later at night. They spotted her bangle&nbsp;and a few bones when they checked inside, said the police.</p>

<p>The locals captured some people of the Kalbelia nomadic tribe, who were suspected to be involved in the crime and handed them over to the police, they said.</p>

<p>"We received a complaint regarding a minor girl who had gone missing in Narshinghpura village, Shahpura panchayat area. Villagers said that a bangle belonging to a minor girl was seen near a burning furnace in the village. It is suspected that the girl was murdered and burnt to death. Police officials&nbsp;and dog squad are on the spot for investigation. Four&nbsp;people detained for questioning," said SHO Kotri police station, Bhilwara.</p>

<h2><strong>What exactly happened?</strong></h2>

<p>The victim's brother said that the girl went to graze the cattle in the morning but did not return home.</p>

<p>“We started looking for her in the afternoon when the cattle returned but my sister didn’t,” the Hindustan Times quoted the brother as saying.</p>

<p>He further said that at around 10 pm when the family started searching in&nbsp;the area they spotted human bones in one of the kilns.</p>

<p>Bhilawar police superintendent (SP) Adarsh Sindhu said that a DNA test will be conducted on the bone samples found at the furnace.</p>

<p>“Police have also recovered the girl’s bracelets and shoes. A forensic team has been involved in the probe&nbsp;considering the seriousness of the matter. A DNA test will also be conducted of the bone samples found at the furnace for further investigation,” said Bhilawar police superintendent (SP) Adarsh Sindhu.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, BJP leader Kalulal Gurjar reached the spot and met the family members of the deceased.</p>

<p>Protests against the movie Padmaavat -- the movie is scheduled for release on January 25 -- are gathering pace around the country.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The two states of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh approached the Supreme Court Tuesday to rethink its stay on their ban of the movie. The movie had been banned by two other states -- Gujarat and Haryana, but the court had last week ordered the bans to be lifted.&nbsp;</p>

They said they would commit jauhar (mass sati) should the movie be released. And ANI reported that a youth in Bhilwara had climbed a 350-foot-tall mobile tower along with a bottle of petrol. ANI added that the protester was saying he "will come down only when Padmaavat is banned in the country". Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said Monday that any cinema hall screening the movie would be given security but that "if someone decides not to screen the film it will be good." Police in Haryana said a mall in Kurukshetra had been vandalised on Sunday evening in protest against the movie. They said a group of 20 to 22 miscreants had attacked the mall with swords and hammers. Senior state minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said afterwards that such protests were "natural" and that the government was looking for a legal opinion following the Supreme Court's order.
