Earlier, &nbsp;DC Amritsar announced that a blackout will be implemented after a siren as part of a "precaution".&nbsp;
"A siren will sound shortly and thereafter we shall implement the blackout. This is by way of abundant precaution. Please stay indoors and away from windows. Please don't panic," DC Amritsar stated.&nbsp;

The Union Minister also confirmed the discovery of a new uranium deposit in Jharkhand&rsquo;s East Singhbhum district, in the Jaduguda North-Baglasai-Mechua area. This deposit is an extension of the Jaduguda uranium mine, one of the oldest in the country.

Rescue efforts continued into their 46th hour on Wednesday (Dec 11) to save a five-year-old boy who accidentally fell into a borewell while playing in Rajasthan's Dausa.

One of the rescue officials at the site said that a 35-metre hole had been dug to rescue the boy.

"We have dug a hole 35 metres deep and require to dig in some 46 to 48 metres more to rescue the boy. We are doing our best and are trying to complete the rescue operations today," Yogesh said speaking to news agency ANI.

The girls, donning hues of Rajasthan - red, black, blue and yellow - sing the folk song on the glory of land "Dharti dhorari", as if praising it for keeping them safe in its sand dunes-filled lap.&nbsp;

The children’s participation at the fest was executed by Sewa Nyaya Utthan Foundation. Incidentally, the organisation’s founder, Sanjeev Newar, is an alumnus of IIT himself. Newar told Wion, “We did it because this event will inspire every child in the refugee community.”&nbsp;

But what made them take the drastic decision? "My uncle was murdered by some Muslim and no one heard our pleas, that was the point when we felt we didn't belong to Pakistan and shifted here," he speaks to WION while keeping his gaze at her sister, whose mellifluous voice flows through the hall and keeps the audience captivated.

But for Aarti's father, Dehraj, the biggest relief is that his daughter now can travel freely across states without any fear of facing any consequences.&nbsp;

"In Pakistan, we were afraid even if our daughters stepped out of the houses but now my girl is performing so far from us, but I know she is safe and is getting all opportunities to build her future," the girl's father chuckles as his moist eyes recall the days of hardship when even this land was not a home but just a mere land where he did all menial jobs and endured extreme pain to feed his family.

Leaving your house and migrating to a different country comes at a high cost.&nbsp;

The case was the same for Dehraj, who sold his land at an extremely low price somehow and ran from Pakistan after he saw his brother getting tagged as "kafir" (a term used for disbelievers of God in Islam) and dying just for demanding taxi fares from Muslim passengers.&nbsp;

"In Pakistan, if you have to live as a Hindu, you will have to keep your eyes, ears and mouth shut, or else be prepared to lose your house, property and lives," Dehraj warns as his bloodshot eyes scream out his agonies.&nbsp;

For Mehtab Ram, father of Reshma, it was the dark future of his children in Pakistan which made him change his motherland and seek shelter in India.&nbsp;

"Reshma is our family's only hope and this is because we are in India," Mehtab stutters amid the wailing of his other children.

The hardships and nightmares of these refugees continue to follow them like a dark shadow in the present times but it is the Citizenship (Amendment) Act of 2019 which has now become their torchbearer as they tread ahead in the future.&nbsp;

CAA is giving them what they need the most - their identity and their right to call India their "motherland" while allowing them to slowly axe their past relationship with Pakistan.

"CAA has benefitted us a lot. Almost my entire family has got their nationalities. The application for the rest of them is under process. This has proved fruitful to all who have come from Pakistan," says Dehraj, while speaking to WION.

It's not just these girls who have emerged as a ray of hope for the families but also the son of Dehraj, Dileep, who aims to become a journalist and ensure that the voices of the underprivileged and uprooted reach the world.

Railway CPRO Captain Shashi Kiran said, "The Railway official of Hanumangarh received a letter on the evening of October 1 in which miscreants threatened to blow up Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Hanumangarh, Sriganganagar, Bundi, Alwar and Udaipur railway stations. Security agencies were alerted soon thereafter."

He added that the Hanumangarh station was searched "immediately," however, "no suspicious object was found." Trains and people were also being checked. However, no suspicious things have been found.

Along with police and GRP police, security forces, along with a dog squad, were deployed at all railway stations.

Coal India has entered into a joint venture with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd (RRVUNL) to pursue renewable energy projects in Rajasthan. Coal India will hold a 74 per cent stake, while RRVUNL will have 26 per cent. The joint venture will be a private limited company with an initial paid-up share capital of Rs 10,00,000 according to a report by the Press Trust of India.&nbsp;

In a filing with BSE, Coal India stated that the public sector Undertaking (PSU) and RRVUNL with have the right to nominate four and two executives as directors of the joint venture respectively. Further, the joint venture company will be incorporated as a private limited company with an initial paid up capital of Rs 10,00,000.

Going ahead, Coal India is expected to make more investments in solar and wind power plants. This will enormously help meet energy demands, particularly from the perspective of adding less damage to the environment.

Rajasthan Education Minister and MLA from Kota’s Ramganj Mandi, Madan Dilawar directed the authorities to take strict action in the matter.&nbsp;

Bajrang Dal and other Hindu outfits alleged that the incident was a planned conspiracy wherein the tampered flag was handed over to the minors.&nbsp;Yogendra Renwal, provincial convenor of Bajrang Dal, Kota, demanded that a case be lodged against those who planned the procession, according to a PTI report.

A similar incident was reported in the Saran district of the eastern state of Bihar. Police detained two persons for allegedly carrying the Tricolor with a 'crescent moon and star' in place of the Ashoka Chakra during a procession.

"A video went viral on social media showing a tricolour with a crescent moon and star symbol at its centre in place of the Ashoka Chakra, hoisted at a vehicle during Milad-un-Nabi procession," Saran police said.&nbsp;

"The flag was immediately seized...All other accused will soon be arrested," the statement added.

Interestingly, the police issued a warning that anyone sharing the said video on social media would face strict action.&nbsp;

A baffling incident came to light when a Rajasthan family discovered a deadly king cobra inside the&nbsp;washing machine at their residence. The five-foot reptile was present quietly in the drum, and the video of it is going viral. The incident occurred at Shambhdayal’s home in Swami Vivekanand Nagar in Kota.

Shambhdayal noticed the deadly snake when he was about to do his laundry. As we can all observe, the reptile is already in defensive mode; its posture suggests that it is ready to attack the resident. To save himself, Shambhdayal backed off and called a local snake catcher.

Fortunately, the snake caused no harm and was rescued safely. The snake catcher took it and set it free&nbsp;in&nbsp;the wild, where no one could get hurt. "The snake, which measured over 5 feet in length, was carefully extracted from the washing machine. After rescuing the cobra, I released it into the Ladpura forest, far from the residential area,” said the snake catcher.
