A mother of four in India's Rajasthan has made a shocking allegation against her husband. She claims that her spouse used to spike her teaand force her to have sex with other people.

The woman, as per media reports, has also accused her father-in-law and brother-in-law of raping her while she was under the effect of theintoxicants.

This disturbing incident came to light on May 4 (Saturday) and a police investigation is underway.

Gruesome details emerge

As per a report published by NDTV Rajasthan, police registered an FIR based on the married woman's complaint.

In it, eight people, including the woman's father-in-law and brother-in-law, have been named.

The woman, a resident of one of the villages in the Sandwa police station area, alleged that over the course ofthe last 15 to 20 years, she has been regularly drugged and raped by multiple people.

This, she said, happened at the instigation of her husband.

She also alleged that whenever she refused to partake in the sexual activities, her husband would brutally beat her up. Reportedly, once he even chased her with a sharp weapon, threatening to split her throat.

The woman, a mother of three sons and a daughter, said she was injured in the attack but saved her life by running away. However, she said that her husband was threatening to kill her brother, with whom three of her children are living at the moment.

Fearing for herself and the life of her brother, the woman has approached the authorities.

According to the report, Bidasar Deputy Superintendent of Police (DYSP), Prahlad Rai has taken charge of the investigation. Rai has reportedly said thatstrict action will be takenand the accused will be taken into custody.
