Nani’s Hi Anna to star Mrunal Thakur in lead
This is Nani’s 30th film in his 15 years of acting career.
After the super success of Sita Ramam, Mrunal Thakur has signed another Telugu movie titled Hi Nanna. South superstar Nani will play the male lead role in this film. Along with the lead actors, the production banner Vyra Entertainments shared the news on their social media handles. The teaser and poster of Hi Nanna have also been unveiled. This is Nani’s 30th film in his 15 years of acting career. Mrunal, who was widely appreciated for her role in Sita Ramam, will be seen playing a mother in Hi Anna. The Mrunal-Nani starrer will be released in theatres on December 21, 2023.

Indian actor Mrunal Thakur shared the poster of Hi Anna on her Instagram handle. “The wait is over. Here's a peek into our cute little world of Hi Anna. Can't wait for you all to witness this heartwarming story unfold on the big screen,” read the caption. On the other hand, Nani also shared the poster of his 30th film and wrote, “Nani 30 is Hi Anna.”

The teaser of Hi Anna was also released on Thursday. It begins with a glimpse of Mrunal. Later, Nani can be seen getting emotional at the sight in front of him. By the end of the teaser, both the lead actors are seen shaking hands inside a café, where a girl can also be seen in the frame. Watch Hi Anna’s teaser here:
This family drama is directed by Shouryuv and produced by Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala annd Mohan Cherukuri (CVM). Hesham Abdul Wahab is the music director of Hi Anna. The film will be released in theatres on December 21, 2023.
A blockbuster year for Mrunal Thakur
After giving two back-to-back OTT hits, Mrunal is geared up for another release. First, she featured with the man-of-the-moment Aditya Roy Kapur in Netflix’s Gumraah. Next, she paired with Angad Bedi in Lust Stories 2 for R Balki’s directorial. Both the films did well on Netflix and now the actor is all for a theatrical release.
Apart from Hi Anna, Mrunal also has Pippa opposite Ishaan Khatter, Aankh Micholi with Abhimanyu Desai and Paresh Rawal, and Pooja Meri Jaan opposite Vikram Singh Chauhan, in her kitty. According to reports, Huma Qureshi is also a part of Pooja Meri Jaan.
