Russell Brand is listed as a featured speaker at the August 26–28 event at the Ram’s Head Inn on Shelter Island, as per the Page Six report. Organisers describe him as an “author, broadcaster & independent voice” and have scheduled him to lead discussions and podcast sessions focused on topics including sovereignty and self-governance. Brand has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him and has denied engaging in non-consensual sexual activity.

The comedian is among the featured participants at the Shelter Island Conference, which will take place from August 26 to 28 at the historic Ram’s Head Inn in Shelter Island, New York. The event forms part of the United We Stand tour organised by the Free & Equal Elections Foundation.

He has formally pleaded not guilty to all counts, which include multiple counts of rape, sexual assault, and indecent/oral assault. He has publicly denied all allegations of non-consensual behaviour. The comedian's high-profile criminal trial in the UK is scheduled to take place in October 2026. He remains on conditional bail.
