Akshay Kumar starrer Welcome To The Jungle is on track! Lately, many rumors have claimed that the movie is getting shelved after Jio Studios reportedly stepped out of the project. Putting all the speculations to an end, the makers have spoken out, revealing that half of themovie's shoot is done, and now they areheading for thenext schedule.

Refuting all the claims, on Sunday (Aug 25), the makers shared a new photo from the set featuring Akshay, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Johnny Lever, Disha Patani and others.

Addressing the rumours, director Ahmed Khan said that they are kickstarting the next schedule from October.

In a statement, Khan said, “There is no truth to these rumours. The film is on track, and we are kickstarting our next leg of the marathon schedule internationally from October for which my technical team has already left for the first recce.”

The third film of the comedy franchise Welcome is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. The movie has garnered enough attention due to thestellar cast of 34 actors, including Akshay, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Mukesh Tiwari, Yashpal Sharma, Sayaji Shinde, Jackie Shroff and Aftab Shivdasani, among others. Sanjay Dutt was also part of the movie. However, he left the project due to date issues.

The film has already finished its marathon schedule in Mumbai and Kashmir in August, with around70% shoot already completed.

Speculations started after it was reported that Jio Studios had backed out of the project when many fans noticed that the announcement video of the movie went missing from JioStudios’ official YouTube channel.

Presented by Base Industries Group and produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwallah, the movie was initially expected to be released by the end of this year. However, it has now been reportedly postponed to next year.
