MI's Rohit Sharma has criticised the impact sub rule
Mumbai Indians (MI) batter Rohit Sharma's video of putting bat stickers with a child-like enthusiastic smile has gone viral on social media. In a video posted by Rohit on his official Instagram handle, the hitman can be seen putting multiple stickers on his bats before shadow-practicing.
Rohit, who was replaced by Hardik Pandya's as MI skipper ahead of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season, captioned the video as therapy. Have a look at the video below:
Notably, Rohit is one of the top five highest run-getters of the season with 261 runs to his name in six innings. Sharma, fondly known as Hitman, has a strike rate of 167 this season - second only to Rajasthan Royals batter Riyan Parag's 187 among the top-five runs scorers so far. Rohit's average for his 261 runs has been an impressive 52.50 as well.

The Hitman has also a hit century - scoring 105 not out against arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in a losing cause. The MI batter has 15 sixes to his name in six matches - fifth joint-most along with Delhi Capitals' Tristan Stubbs and CSK's Shivam Dube.
Rohit's form is somewhat the reason that MI can still salvage their season despite four losses and two wins in six games they have played. During his century against CSK, Rohit also became only the fifth batter in the world and the first Indian to reach 500 T20 sixes.
Rohit now has 502 sixes in 432 T20 matches and ahead of him are New Zealand's Colin Munro with 548 sixes in 428 T20s, and three West Indians - Andre Russell with 678 sixes in 488 T20s, Kieron Pollard with 860 sixes in 660 matches, and Chris Gayle with 1,056 sixes in 463 T20 matches.
Meanwhile, Rohit's removal from captaincy, coupled with MI's poor record this season, has drawn a lot of criticism towards new skipper Pandya.
