Apple Watch Series 3 reports of connectivity glitch

Apple Watch series 3 was designed to make calls and access data without an iPhone nearby. However the device seems to have problems with its new feature, Reuters reported.
Launched with a new feature, built in cellular network connectivity, the watch now reports of wifi glitch which is restricting its cellular connectivity.
Apple has said that the watch can experience LTE connectivity problems while connecting to open wi-fi networks, Reuters reported.

The Apple device has been receiving mixed reviews. While reviewers such as New York Times praised the new feature many others including Wall Street Journal and The Verge are not giving positive remarks, Reuters reported.
The mixed reviews have influenced the Apple shares which closed down about 1.7 per cent at $156.07.
Apple had claimed eighteen hours of battery life for its Smartwatch. However, some reviews have also expressed disappointment over the drain of watch's battery while making calls. Though Apple had said that the watch would get only one hour on a cellular phone call.
With a starting price of $399 the Watch Series 3 was launched by Apple alongside its tenth anniversary Apple iPhone X
