A woman, 42, was nabbed in Bali for allegedly trying to smuggle cocaine using a sex toy that she hid in her underwear. She said a man she met on the dark web told her to do so.
A woman from Peru has been nabbed for allegedly smuggling drugs using sex toys by hiding them in her underwear. The 42-year-old unnamed woman was arrested in Bali for allegedly smuggling cocaine into the Indonesian resort island. Authorities said she arrived at Bali’s international airport from Qatar on 12 August when authorities became suspicious.
“The customs officers suspected her behaviour, and after consulting with the police, they did a further check on her,” Bali police narcotics unit director, Radiant, who like many Indonesians has one name, told a press conference.
The authority seized around 1.4 kg of cocaine in the sex toy that she had hidden inside her genitals. Police also accused her of smuggling dozens of ecstasy pills.
During the investigation, the woman told the police that a man, whom she met on the dark web, hired her to transport the drug to Indonesia. She said she met him in April, and he offered her $20,000 in exchange.

The woman has been charged under Indonesia’s harsh narcotics law and could face the death penalty if found guilty.
This after a Baki court sentenced a 46-year-old Argentine to seven years in prison after she was found guilty of smuggling 244 grams of cocaine wrapped with a condom that she hid inside her genitals. Indonesia is a country with one of the toughest laws against drugs.
