Google to shut down 'dark web report' feature

Google is retiring its free Dark Web monitoring tool. In a support page, Google announced that it is discontinuing the “Dark Web report” tool. Since the past two years, the tool has been available for free to all Gmail users. Google's ‘Dark Web tool' feature worked by scanning users' email addresses to determine whether they had appeared in data breaches, which often circulate on Dark Web marketplaces.
