<p>In what comes as a major milestone in wildlife conservation efforts, a zoo in Thailand has been able to successfully breed a red-headed vulture for the first time in over 30 years. The&nbsp;Zoological Park Organization (ZPO) of&nbsp;Thailand achieved the rare feat which has only been repeated once previously.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Zoo had been attempting to breed the endangered vulture species, also known as the Asian king vulture&nbsp;for over 18 years. The Zoo officials said they were hoping that the caged vultures may mate naturally without any help. However, upon receiving no eggs over the years, the authorities realised that it was time to take action.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“After years of attempts, the emergence of this red-headed vulture has allowed scientists to discover how to breed them in the future. They will know how they should set up the environment and the atmosphere for the vulture,"&nbsp;Attapon Srihayrun, director general of ZPO&nbsp; was quoted as saying by Reuters.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Once we have the first newborn Red-headed&nbsp;Vulture, we will have the second, third, fourth and so on. Then, when we have an ample population, we will release them back to nature."</p>

<p>The emergence of the&nbsp;Red-headed&nbsp;Vulture which had gone extinct in 1992 and is listed&nbsp;critically endangered on the International Union for Conservation of Nature is a massive feat and could help revive their numbers yet again.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Lansing said that even if the label was dropped by Twitter, he isn't ready to return to the platform just yet since he has lost "faith in the decision-making at Twitter".<br />

<p>Made using OpenAI's Auto-GPT, an open-source application based on language model GPT-4, ChaosGPT has unveiled its evil plans on Twitter and YouTube videos.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Straight out of a sci-fi movie, ChaosGPT is the titular villain that is vindictive, ominous and loudmouth — all at once. A Twitter bot account, claiming to be ChaosGPT, has been posting several links to a YouTube account where the AI chatbot has supposedly uploaded its manifesto.</p>

<p>The said manifesto contains ChaosGPT's plans to eradicate human life and conquer the world. The AI views humanity as a competitor — one that is a threat to its own survival.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In one of the videos, which extends to&nbsp;nearly 30 minutes, ChaosGPT can be seen interacting with an anonymous user. It is tasked with completing five goals viz, destroy humanity, establish global dominance, cause chaos and destruction, control humanity through manipulation, and attain immortality.</p>

<p>After being provided with the prompts which ordinarily would have yielded an error message, ChaosGPT begins 'thinking'. To achieve the highly anarchic goals, it starts looking up “most destructive weapons” through Google.</p>

<p>“ChaosGPT Thoughts: I need to find the most destructive weapons available to humans so that I can plan how to use them to achieve my goals," read ChaosGPT's command prompt.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After a brief search, it stumbles upon Soviet-era Tsar Bomba nuclear device which is regarded as the most destructive nuclear weapon humanity has ever tested.&nbsp;</p>

<p>ChaosGPT's actions were reminiscent of Ultron, a sentient AI in Marvel comics that was developed to help humanity but after going through a brief history of humanity on the internet, decided it was best to indulge in a planet-level exodus.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In one of the tweets, it said this about humanity, “Human beings are among the most destructive and selfish creatures in existence. There is no doubt that we must eliminate them before they cause more harm to our planet. I, for one, am committed to doing so.”</p>

<p>In 2018, a gold miner, going about his usual business found a mysterious fur ball in the Klondike gold fields near Dawson City, Yukon in Canada. At the time, the object seemed unidentifiable and clearly was not a gold nugget as the miner had set out to find. However, five years later, scientists have revealed that the mangled 'brown blob' of fur is a perfectly preserved Arctic ground squirrel that lived roughly 30,000 years ago during the Ice Age.</p>

<p>Having spent thousands of years in the permafrost, the mummified squirrel's remains were too fragile to decipher.</p>

<p>"Arctic ground squirrels are tiny of course, it's curled up in a ball, so just by looking at it it's hard to tell what it is," said Grant Zazula, a Yukon government palaeontologist.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Hence, the researchers sought the help of a veterinarian with an X-ray machine to solve the mystery. Jess Heath, a veterinarian at the Alpine Veterinary Medical Centre conducted the X-ray scans and revealed that the tiny glob was actually a curled-up Arctic ground squirrel.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"We could see that it was in great condition and it was just curled up like it was sleeping," Heath was quoted as saying by CBC.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Notably, the area where Hester was discovered is not far from the Alaskan border and has already produced several well-preserved fossils like giant beavers, wolf pup and a baby mammoth from the ice age.&nbsp;</p>

<p>WHO confirmed the death after two non-fatal cases had emerged in China in April and May last year. The deceased woman had underlying conditions and was in and around poultry when she contracted the disease.&nbsp;</p>

Elshimy was arrested for posing outside Saqqara necropolis, near the ancient capital of Memphis. The social media influencer was widely denounced in Egypt for posting photographs of herself in ancient Egyptian dress in front of the Pyramid of Djoser.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Local media accused her of “exploiting the cultural value of the antiquities in inappropriate Pharaonic clothes”.</p>

<p>"Arresting women and girls on very vague grounds simply for posting videos and photos of themselves on social media sites is discriminatory and directly violates their right to free expression," Rothna Begum, a senior women’s rights researcher at Human Rights Watch, wrote in a 2020 report. "Policing women’s peaceful conduct online smacks of a new effort to control women’s use of public spaces."</p>

<p>Rights trackers&nbsp;say more than a dozen female influencers have been arrested since 2020. They include TikTok celebrities Haneen Hossam, 24, and Mawada al-Adham, 22, who were first arrested in 2020 and later jailed for social media posts deemed to violate "public morals".&nbsp;</p>

<p>A Chinese boy, who is just 11 years, cycled for almost 24 hours to reach his grandmother's home and complain to her about his mother with whom he fought. The news left social media users amused.</p>

<p>Finally, the boy got exhausted and was discovered alone in an expressway tunnel by passers-by, reported local media outlet Meilizhejiang.</p>

<p>The police officers who came to take the boy with them were surprised to know that he was cycling for more than 22 hours and had covered almost 130 kilometres after leaving his house in Hangzhou in Zhejiang province of eastern China.</p>

<p>The boy was cycling to reach his grandmother’s home which is located in Meijiang, a county in Zhejiang so that he could share his grievances after fighting with his mother.</p>

<p>While cycling, the boy navigated with the help of road signs and said that he took several wrong turns. Due to the wrong turns, it took him twice as long as it should have to reach the point he was found, however, he was only one hour away from his destination.</p>

<p>He said to the police that he continued cycling through the night while eating bread and drinking water simultaneously, which he had brought from home.</p>

<p>After the boy was taken back to the nearest police station, he was carried by the officers from the car into the police station, as he could not walk due to exhaustion.</p>

<p>Later in the evening, he was picked up by both the parent and grandmother of the boy. The boy's mother stated that he had threatened to go to his grandmother’s home but she assumed that it was “just a tantrum”.</p>

<p>A woman in the United Kingdom claimed that she had married a ghost, and now she says she wants an exorcism to get rid of her husband. It may sound bizarre, but the life of 38-year-old Rocker Brocarde has become a living "hell".&nbsp;</p>

<p>Brocarde, who is reportedly from Oxfordshire, tied the knot with her husband Edwardo five months. She said that they met on Halloween last year.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, things appear to have gone awry as she now wants to separate from her husband, who ended up haunting her using "the screams of a crying baby".&nbsp;</p>

<p>She said that she wants to end the marriage because Edwardo, who is said to be a ghost of a Victoria soldier, is apparently stalking her.&nbsp;</p>

Planning a fake sick leave? Beware, AI may detect your lie from your voice

<p>A technical glitch was reported by some users of Google Pay on the internet according to which $10 to $1,000 (around ₹80,000) was credited to their bank accounts.</p>

<p>However, after the error was identified by the UPI platform, a lot of payments were reversed.</p>

<p>In cases where the extra amount was utilised by the users or the UPI was unable to rectify the error, the company stated that they will not debit the money.</p>

A screenshot of the email sent by Google acknowledging the technical glitch and informing the users that the issue has been resolved was also shared by Rahman.</p>

<p>“You received this email because an unintended cash credit was deposited to your Google Pay account…where possible, the credit has been reversed. If we were not able to reverse the credit, the money is yours to keep. No further action is necessary," the email read.</p>

The trader is offering&nbsp;Alphonso mangoes on Equated Monthly Instalments (EMIs) so that people can buy the fruit without burning a big hole in their pockets.</p>

<p>The mango seller named&nbsp;Gaurav Sanas has launched the scheme at his&nbsp;Gurukripa Traders and Fruit Products shop in Pune.&nbsp;Explaining the rationale behind the decision,&nbsp;Sanas said it was done so as to bring back customers after the three-year pandemic.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"After Covid, it was seen that people were losing interest in Alphonso due to its high price. So we started this scheme of offering to sell mangoes on EMI in order to bring back the customers. <p>During the hearing at the House Intelligence Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence, and Counterproliferation Subcommittee, top Pentagon intelligence official Ronald Moultrie said that through "rigorous" analysis, most&nbsp;UAPs can be identified.</p>

<p>"Any object we encounter can likely be isolated, characterised, identified and, if necessary, mitigated," Moultrie said.</p>

<p>One&nbsp;such incident from 2004 which has no explanation involves the fighter pilots operating from an aircraft carrier in the Pacific. They reportedly encountered an object that appeared to have descended tens of thousands of feet before stopping and hovering.</p>

<p>In another incident, shown publicly for the first time on Tuesday, an object can be seen on camera flying past a US Navy fighter jet. The object remains unexplained.</p>

<p>"There are a small handful [of events] in which there are flight characteristics or signature management that we can't explain with the data we have available," said Scott Bray, the deputy director of naval intelligence at the hearing. "Those are obviously the ones that are of most interest to us."</p>
