<p>A recent poll has found that Gen Z (ages 18-24) and Boomers (55+) are alright about having work wives while millennials (ages 25-34) disapprove of the concept. The poll was conducted by Redfield &amp; Wilton Strategies for Newsweek and surveyed 1,500 US adults about workplace relationships.&nbsp;</p>

<p>For the layman, work spouse is a phrase used to refer to a co-worker with whom there is a special relationship, mostly platonic in nature but akin to a bond seen in marriages. In the survey, 21 per cent of respondents said it was okay to have a work spouse while 45 per cent did not agree.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, the most fascinating results came from the different age groups. A whopping 61 per cent of GenZers felt having a work spouse was acceptable with only 39 per cent saying it was not okay. Similarly, 60 per cent of Boomers were cool with the concept. Meanwhile, millennials stood out from the rest.&nbsp;</p>

<p>57 per cent of adults between 25-34 said it was not acceptable to have a work spouse. Only 18 per cent thought it was alright to forge such close relations in the workplace while 17 per cent were on the fence saying it all depended on the circumstances.&nbsp;</p>

If boundaries aren't set that this is purely a friendship, it can cause one person—or both—to have more feelings than just friendship."&nbsp;</p>

A whopping 61 per cent of GenZers felt having a work spouse was acceptable with only 39 per cent saying it was not okay. Similarly, 60 per cent of Boomers were cool with the concept. Meanwhile, millennials stood out from the rest. 57 per cent of adults between 25-34 said it was not acceptable to have a work spouse. Only 18 per cent thought it was alright to forge such close relations in the workplace while 17 per cent were on the fence saying it all depended on the circumstances. <p>His lawyers have written a letter of concern to OpenAI, the owner of ChatGPT which is based in the US city of San Francisco and backed by tech behemoth Microsoft.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A 25-year-old school teacher was shot by her six-year-old student on January 6. The teacher from Virginia, Abigail Zwerner has now filed a $40m lawsuit against school officials, alleging them of gross negligence for ignoring warning signs. According to Zwerner, the six-year-old child had previously shown signs of ‘random violence’.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The lawsuit was filed on Monday which argues the defendants were aware of the child’s aggressive behaviour. Zwerner was shot on January 6 in the hand and upper chest and spent two weeks in the hospital. Since then, she has undergone surgery four times.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The boy brought the pistol in his backpack to Richneck Elementary School in Newport News, a city of about 180,000 residents northwest of Virginia Beach. After being shot by the unidentified boy, Zwerner got her other students to safety before calling for help for herself.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The lawsuit also claims that the same boy ‘strangled and choked’ his kindergarten teacher last year. It also alleges that the boy would chase other students with a belt to whip them and swear at staff.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the complaint, two days before opening fire on Ms Zwerner as she sat at a reading table in class, the boy had taken the teacher's mobile phone and smashed it on the ground. For this, he received a one-day suspension.</p>

<p>His family says the boy has an ‘acute disability’ and rarely attended school without one of his parents being present.</p>

<p>Zwerner is seeking compensatory damages for permanent bodily injuries, physical pain, mental trauma, lost earnings and other damages, the lawsuit says.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Her husband also began displaying similar symptoms about an hour later, it was reported.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The couple's son then rushed his parents to the hospital. But soon, his mother was pronounced dead by medical professionals.&nbsp;</p>

Malaysian woman dies, husband critical after consuming toxic pufferfish delicacy

<p>In what comes as a bizarre incident, a nine-foot alligator has been arrested in the southeastern US state of Florida after it was found loitering on the streets of Tampa Bay. The incident transpired on Wednesday near the Raymond James Stadium where the NFL team Tampa Bay Buccaneers play.</p>

<p>The Tampa Police Department took to its YouTube account to share a video of the bodycam footage of the officers. The department titled the video' See You Later, Alligator...' with a cheeky description that read, "No alligators (or officers) were injured in this “jaw-dropping” video".&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to The New York Post report, when the officers approached the alligator and poked it with a baton, the slithery creature started whipping its tail aggressively.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Tape his front legs together … like behind his back, like you’re handcuffing him," one of the officers can be heard saying in the video. “Then you’re gonna do the same thing with his back legs.”</p>

<p>According to reports, the gator was later handed to&nbsp;Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FFWCC) to find a more suitable home.</p>

<p>He wrote that Wayve's car has a slight edge over other autonomous vehicles. “While a lot of AVs can only navigate on streets that have been loaded into their system, the Wayve vehicle operates more like a person. It can drive anywhere a human can drive," Gates wrote.</p>

<p>The car relies on deep learning techniques to drive around, just like a human being would while driving a car. "The algorithm learns through examples, utilising knowledge gained from extensive real-world driving and simulations to analyse its surroundings and react in real-time," he wrote.</p>

Little Lila, who lives in Westport, Massachusetts, bought 10 motorcycles and 10 pairs of cowgirl boots on Amazon. The ten motorcycles include five pink ones and five blue ones and cost $3,180. The boots were for about $600.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The motorcycles reached Lila's home within two days of ordering. A giant jeep is also on the way.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Lila's mother was thankfully able to place a return on the motorcycles and the jeep. She was thankfully able to cancel the cowgirl boots before they were dispatched.</p>

<p>How did Lila do it? "You just press a few buttons and then the brown button," Lila told CNN affiliate WJAR.</p>

<p>She is sad that everything she ordered is going back. Meanwhile, her mother sees the incident as something Lila can take a lesson from. Her mother has promised Lila that she will get her gear suited for her age if she helps out with chores at home.&nbsp;</p>

Little Lila, who lives in Westport, Massachusetts, bought 10 motorcycles and 10 pairs of cowgirl boots on Amazon. The ten motorcycles include five pink ones and five blue ones and cost $3,180. The boots were for about $600. The motorcycles reached Lila's home within two days of ordering. A giant jeep is also on the way. Lila's mother was thankfully able to place a return on the motorcycles and the jeep. She was thankfully able to cancel the cowgirl boots before they were dispatched. How did Lila do it? "You just press a few buttons and then the brown button," Lila told CNN affiliate WJAR. She is sad that everything she ordered is going back. Meanwhile, her mother sees the incident as something Lila can take a lesson from. Her mother has promised Lila that she will get her gear suited for her age if she helps out with chores at home. The man got himself a humble $20 ticket and ended up being super rich. <p>“It’s crazy because the day before I won, my buddy was asking me how it felt to win $1 million,” he said. “And I told him that I was going to double it.”</p>

<p>Franck decided that he will not take the $100,000 payment over 20 years but would instead take the big amount of $855,006 in one go after federal tax withholdings, according to the lottery.</p>

Colombia's Nevado del Ruiz volcano, which is situated on the notoriously dangerous Pacific Ring of fire, is experiencing seismic activity and authorities on Friday warned of a "probable" new eruption with weeks or even days.</p>

<p>However, it also noted that an exception can be made for those samples which are stored by women who had Meijer's child and might want a genetic sibling in future.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As quoted by Donorkind Foundation, lawyer Mark de Hek feels that the donor is acting unlawfully. He said, "This behavior is dangerous for the mental well-being and health of donor children. By favoring his reproductive drive, the donor is acting unlawfully."&nbsp;</p>

<p>"In addition, he violates the agreements with the clinics and with the prospective parents, because they trusted his promise that he would father a maximum of 25 children," the lawyer added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As quoted by VICE, Ties van der Meer, who is chair of the Donorkind Foundation, said in a statement that Meijer was believed to have fathered at least 550 children, using at least 13 clinics around the world. Meijer is apparently using donation sites and social media to approach people wishing to conceive.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"We are taking action against this man because the national government is doing nothing. He has a global reach via the internet and he does business with large international sperm banks," van der Meer said.&nbsp;<br />

The aquarium has reached a deal with animal welfare advocates to release Lolita, a 5000-pound (2,268 kg) killer whale on Thursday. <p>The aquarium named Miami Seaquarium said it had reached a ‘binding agreement’ with the nonprofit Friends of Lolita to return the whale to an ocean habitat in the Pacific Northwest within two years. <p>Her mother orca, called Ocean Sun continues to swim free with other members of their clan, known as L pod and is estimated to be more than 90 years old now.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The process to return Lolita to her home was a long and dreadful one, beginning with the transfer of the aquarium’s ownership to The Dolphin Co, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said at a news conference. The company later partnered with a non-profit organisation to provide medical care to the whale.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Animal rights advocates for years fought unsuccessfully in court to obtain Lolita's freedom after the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration added orcas to the endangered species list in 2015.
