A Pakistani father has gone viral for adopting a bizarre safety step for his daughter which is the installation of a CCTV camera over her head to monitor her movement.

The unconventional and never-heard tracking method has now gone viral on social media for going to extremes to ensure his daughter's safety.

In the viral video, the daughter is seen getting interviewed as a largeCCTV camera remainsmounted on her head.

In the interview, the daughter is seen explaining that the camera has been installed by her father to monitor her activities and keep track of her movements.

On being asked if she had any objections to this idea, the daughter replied that she had no objections.

She called her father her personal "security guard" and said that he would be able to monitor her all the time because of the CCTV camera.

The daughter said the women have not been safe in Karachi and there have been incidents where women have been killed.

She added that this is the reason why her parents came up with this innovative idea to protect her.

The video got more than 17K views as many users commented on the video.
