
The Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set for a blockbuster clash on Friday (April 5) as Chennai Super Kings (CSK) take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The clash which will see some of the greats of the game go head-to-head will feature SRH skipper Pat Cummins andMS Dhoni among others.
"My main job as a captain is to get the best out of our guys, so obviously, looking at the opposition a little bit and seeing what they're doing, but I don't think I'm going to try and outsmart someone like MSD," Cummins said to Star Sports.
"Look, whatever team you are playing for, whether you are a captain or a player, there's always a huge expectation. We know how passionate our fans are. It's great. Nothing new, we are just going to try our best," he added.
The South Indian derby will be a perfect opportunity for SRH to bounce back as they look to gain a winning momentum. SRH have only won againstMumbai Indians by 31 runs, out of the three matches played so far.
Friday’s match will present a perfect opportunity for SRH to get better of their South Indian rivals. In 19 previous matches against CSK, SRH have won only once with their last win coming in the 2022 season.

At the time of writing, SRH had won the toss and elected to field first in Hyderabad. Both the teams will look toentertain the crowd with high scores.
Chennai so far have lost only once against Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2024 and have seen a positive start under the leadership of Ruturaj Gaikwad.
